Nova Wellness Center will hold a Free Spinal Screening and a Health Walk
Five years ago, Nova Wellness Center opened its doors to the general public to provide Chiropractic services to families, corporations and individuals.
From a humble beginning, we have helped thousands of individuals achieve maximum wellness without the use of drugs or surgery.
A feat that has earned us the best Health Facility at the recently held Small Medium Enterprises Ghana Awards (SMEGA), endorsed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
As we celebrate five years of excellence in service under the theme, “Empowering Our Communities to Achieve Maximum Wellness’’, we want to show our utmost appreciation to Ghanaians and the general public for choosing us as their healthcare providers. You are cordially invited to:
1. A free spinal screening on Friday 22nd June 2018. At Nova Wellness Center from 7am – 4pm.
People with spondylosis, scoliosis, joint pain, abnormal posture, general body pain and all other musculoskeletal diseases are encouraged to come to this screening. Children are welcome too.
2. A health walk followed by a fun azonto aerobics session on 2nd July 2018. Converging point is the premises of Nova Wellness Center.
Our special guests of honour are the Accra Mayor, Hon. Mohammed Adjei Sowah and the Member of Parliament for Klottey Korle, Hon. Zanetor Rawlings. There will be lots of giveaways from our partners after the health walk.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), globally, 70 per cent of deaths – some 40 million – are now attributed to 'lifestyle' conditions, with lower and middle-income countries being affected the most. In fact, the WHO predicts lifestyle diseases will be the biggest killers in Africa by 2030. Sadly, many people are oblivious to how they can prevent many of these conditions.
The purpose of this health walk is therefore to encourage members of our clinic, their families as well as members of the general public to practice preventive medicine rather than curative.
