Superintendents call for review of Health Insurance tariffs

Ho, Feb. 02, GNA - The Volta Region Division of the Medical Superintendents Group has called on the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to review health insurance tariffs in place since 2008. A statement the Group issued and signed by its Chairman Dr. Kofi Gafatsi Normanyo said this was 93to prevent already suffocating hospitals from total collapse." The Group also called for a review of the Ghana Diagnosis Related Groups (GDRG) to make them more comprehensive 93in order to prevent unnecessary huge financial losses to service providers."
