The Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) emergency centre to cater for patients infected with Ebola and other deadly diseases, known as the Infectious Disease Treatment Centre (IDTC) was funded by the Korean government under the auspices of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), at the cost of 1.5 million cedis.

The facility has a capacity of about 20 beds, a water tanker and an ambulance bay as prescribed by the World Health Organisation in the wake of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa back in 2014.

sanazambang.com has information that some of the equipments for the Infectious Disease Treatment Centre (IDTC) has gone missing.

According to Sanatu Zambang anonymous reporter, the storekeeper has been the main suspect as he is the only one with the keys to the newly shipped in a container, in which these million dollar equipments are stored in.

The senior stuff and newly appointed director got to know about the missing equipements after the inauguration of the newly-constructed facility which was held in December 2017.

A committee was formed immediately to investigate the missing equipments and a search was conducted in each office and ward, but nothing was found.

The storekeeper still insisted that he is innocent but there was enough evidence to back him, so the police had to take him for further investigation.

The story took an interesting turn when Sanatu Zambang anonymous reporter had a tip that the storekeeper has found the missing equipments in a different health facility.

The TTH stuff and the Tamale police service rushed to the said health facility, after a series of investigations, the serial numbers of the equipments in the said health facility matched that of the ones at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH).

According to Sanatu Zambang anonymous reporter, the said health facility is Universal Health Clinic and its owned by one of the senior staff at The Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) who was/is also contesting for a high ranking position at Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH).

Police investigations revealed that the said senior stuff confirmed that the missing equipments were sold to him by someone. The Sanatu Zambang Team tried reaching the newly appointed PR, Dr. Ken Osei Mensah, but efforts to reach him failed.
