Mr Raphael McClare Asomey, Programmes Officer of Savana Signatures, Tamale based NGO on Monday advised teachers and parents to educate children periodically on Ebola to prevent them from contracting the disease in case of an outbreak.
He said this during an Ebola awareness campaign in some schools in the the Savelugu/Nanton Municipality on Monday.
The schools included the Savelugu Experimental Primary and Junior High Schools and Rawdatul-Atfal Junior High School.
He educated the school children on how the disease is spread.
