Accra, Sept. 23, GNA - Alpha and Omega International, a non-governmental organization based in the US, on Monday organised a free oral cavity exercise for pupils of Bishop's Mix Primary School at Akoto Lamptey in Accra. Reverend Dr Godfrey Nunoo, leader of the five-member medical team, said the aim of the exercise was to cater for the health needs of poor communities. He said his organisation for the past seven years had used Ghana as the gateway to Africa to deliver free health screening services for deprived communities in the country. Mr Dennis Amartefio, Coordinator for the Alpha and Omega International, said so far several communities in Greater Accra Region and Eastern Regions have benefited from the exercise and hoped to reach out to every community in the country. Miss Emelia Mensah, Headmistress of the school, thanked the organisation for the service and also for donating free toothbrushes and toothpaste to each pupil. 23 Sept. 08
