Kaleo Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital commended for hard work

Kaleo (UWR), Aug. 30, GNA - Alhaji Issahaku Salia, Upper West Regional Minister, has commended the management of Kaleo Ahmadiyya Muslim Hospital for their hard work and commitment towards quality health delivery in the Region.

"Government recognizes and appreciates the contribution the Ahmadiyya Muslims have made so far in the area of health and education".

Alhaji Salia made the commendation when he visited the hospital on Monday at Kaleo to acquaint himself with some of the challenges confronting the hospital.

Alhaji Salia was accompanied by Mr Bernard K. Puozuing, Jirapa District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr Robert Bakah Wavei, DCE for Sissala West, Mr Abu Kansangbata, DCE for Nadowli and Mr Seidu Tungbani, DCE for Wa West.

He said government was committed to improving the health sector through the provision of adequate infrastructure and other logistics to equip the existing hospitals and open new ones.

He gave the assurance that government would extend a hand of support to the hospital whenever resources were available.

Alhaji Salia, who also inspected a new building project being put up by the hospital, urged the management of the hospital never to relent in their effort to render quality health care services to the people.

Dr Mohammad Nasrullah Khan, the Medical Director of the Hospital thanked the Minister and the DCEs for the visit and pledged that the hospital would continue to do more to improve on the health of the people.

He said the visit had created a fruitful working relationship between them and promised to knock at the Minister's door for support anytime the need arises.
