Abena has nothing to offer. As a deputy finance minister in the Akufo-Addo regime, she never advised the ministry. She is only singing the refrain of the present government. The 2026 health budget is staggering. Moreover, the element of Mahama Care projects gives it much significance. What is more, the President has promised to complete 10 agenda 111 hospitals. What dedicated fund is she talking about? Did her government not scoop all the funds in the coffers and leave behind untold debts before fleeing office? And what is her complaint about the health budget? If over 80% is set aside for compensation, which is salaries, wages and allowances, then what is our worry? Her government hurriedly recruited billions of nurses, most of them without warrants, and fled office. These must be catered for. And yet today, the very one who failed us, is now complaining. Look, this country is for us all. If you mismanage it, the consequent rippling effect is catastrophic and could take only the hand of Herculis to subdue the strain. This woman must learn to go into hibernation.
