Health minister Kwabena Mintah Akando and his Deputy Grace Ayensu at the meeting
The Minister of Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, chaired an additional two-day stakeholder engagement aimed at deepening discussions on Ghana’s flagship Agenda 111 health infrastructure programme on January 14, 2025.
The engagement is focused on findings from the Agenda 111 audit report conducted by Audit and Evaluation Services Limited (AESL), providing stakeholders with an opportunity to review, clarify and align on key audit outcomes.
Discussions also centered on the proposed introduction of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) management system for hospital equipment, a move expected to strengthen efficiency, maintenance and value for money across health facilities.
The extended engagement underscores government’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and sustainable management of investments within the health sector.
