First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, has said her office is working extra hard to reach the Sustainable Development Goa of reducing drastically maternal mortality and child mortality.
According to her, all stakeholders including the United Nations Population Fund (NFPA), The United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), the African Union (AU), Ministry of Health (MoH) have been deliberating on plans of reaching the SGD goals.
Mrs Akufo-Adddo in a tweet said: “Over the past few days, stakeholders from UNFPA, UNICEF, The AU, MOH among others & my office have been deliberating and drawing up plans of reaching the #SDG goal of reducing drastically maternal & child mortality as well as eradicating Female Genital Mutilation.”
