Accra, June 11, GNA - Accra Great Olympics were held to a two all drawn game by Wa All Stars in the 24th week Onetouch Premier League match played at the Ohene Djan Stadium to leave them rooted at the bottom of the table.

Olympics who are battling for survival throughout the season conceded the first goal to All Stars in the 17th minute when Gafaru Nasiru fired home a set up from Daniel Bonfah. The early goal brought some urgency in the style of the home team as they mounted an intense pressure in search for the equalizer, which materialized in the 24th minute through a spot kick, converted by Eric Adjei.

Olympic maintained pressure on the visitors and succeeded in taking the lead in the 33rd minute through a tireless effort by Michael Ocansey.

Ocansey, who was located at the edge of the vital area by a Tanko Mohammed's cross, outwitted two defenders and the goalkeeper before placing the ball into the net. Bonfah was on hand to fetch the equalizer when he had only keeper Ben Mensah to beat but shot widely in the 38th minute thus giving the home team an edge after the close of the first half. The second half was however more of a comedy of errors as both sides blew off begging chances. Bonfah however made amends in the 59th minute, when he weaved his way through the Olympics defence before slotting in the ball for the much needed equalizer. Olympics struggled to regain their lead only to be denied by poor shooting and indecision by their attackers, whilst All Stars, who also created some decent chances, failed to capitalized on their advantage to carry the day. Olympics thus remain at the bottom of the table and seem to be heading for the much hated wilderness of relegation.
