Ansah joins Affum at scorers chart summit

Accra, Jan. 27, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder Obed Ansah took his goal tally to five after hitting the back of the net in club's 2-1 win over King Faisal in their week eight clash last Sunday. Ansah, thus joins Tema Youth lead striker Edward Affum at the summit of the scorers' chart of the Glo Premier League on five goals apiece after the eighth week matches played over the weekend. The duo is closely followed by Hearts of Oak striker Eric Gawu and Asante Kotoko pair, Alex Asamoah and Stephen Manu, on four goals each. Kpando Heart of Lions forward Kofi Nti Boakye, Sam Ayew Yeboah of Dansoman Liberty Professionals, returnee Tawfik Alolo of Real Tamale United and Richard Atikah of debutants, Bechem Chelsea, Samad Oppong of King Faisal and Arafat Adjako of Obuasi Ashantigold follow in that order with three goals apiece.
