Ashgold beat Kessben 2-1

Obuasi, Jan. 18, GNA- Struggling Obausi Ashgold brought the smiles to the faces of their fans this time round when they managed an emphatic 2-1 victory over visiting Kessben FC in their Glo Premier League encounter at the Len Clay stadium at Obuasi. The victory which is the Miners second home win came through the efforts of Eric Adu Poku in the 70th minute from neat pass from Nana Ahendua.

It was however Kessben who scored first in the 25th minute through Richard Impong, however, Ashgold levelled up the scores eight minutes later through Arafat Adjaku to end the first half at par.

Ashgold came back from the recess strongly and attacked from all angles and in one of their forays Adu Poku ensured victory for his side when he scored the vital goal to earn his side the three maximum points. 18 Jan. 09
