Bekwai , Dec 11, GNA - Top scorer in the premiership, Emmanuel Baffour scored his 11th goal ofthe season when he led his side, New Edubiase FC to beat Aduana Stars 2-1 at the Gyamfi Park, Bekwai in their 11th week Premier League game on Sunday.
Edubiase started the game strongly and opened the scores in the 25th minute, when Baffour raced deep into the goal area of Aduana Stars and shot directly at Stephen Adams who failed to save the goal-bound shot.
Aduana were full of fight and conceding the goal and succeeded in picking the equaliser through skipper Samuel Aseidu, when he connected home a Richard Arhin's cross in the 65th minute.
Baffour was, however, again on target to make victory certain for Edubiase, when his terrific shot in the 75th minute, from the edge of the penalty box sailed straight into the net for the match winner.
