Dwarfs beat Medeama in Division One League match

Cape Coast, Dec. 25, GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs fought from a goal down at half time to beat Tarkwa Medeama 2-1 in their Division One League mid-week match played at Robert Mensah stadium, Cape Coast.

Medeama parading players of Premier division caliber shocked Dwarfs with a 10th minute goal scored by midfielder, Mathew Frimpong. The early goal disorganized Dwarfs and allowed Medeama to dictate the pace of the game until half time.

Back from recess, Dwarfs brought in Akwasi Antwi for Peter Marko and the change enabled Dwarfs to take full control of the game and it came as no surprise when substitute Antwi after collecting a pass beat his marker and gave a diagonal pass to Bismark Asiedu to score the equalizer in the 55th minute.

Backed by their vociferous supporters, Dwarfs continued to dictate affairs but it not until the 75th minute when they scored the match winner through a spot kick taken by outside left, Douglas Mustapha.
