Edubiase end Kotoko unbeaten run

New Edubiase ended Asante Kotoko's 8-game unbeaten run in the Glo Premier League on Wednesday as they grabbed a hard-fought 1-0 victory.

Emmanuel Baffour's deflected 33rd-minute goal shattered Kotoko's impressive start to the campaign as the Edubiase striker took his tally to 9 goals.


Kotoko had midfielder Michael Akuffo sent off in the 75th minute.

Despite the defeat, the Porcupine Warriors still hold onto top spot as rivals, Hearts of Oak drew their game in Accra, which started 30 minutes late.


Kotoko, are however tied on 18 points with Berekum Chelsea as the champions could only draw at Cape Coast.
