Essipong, (W/R) March 26, GNA - Sekondi Eleven Wise on Wednesday beat Tema Youth 1-0 in a Glo Premier League match played at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong.
Both sides played cautiously but tactically in the first half but it was Wise who occasionally moved upfront aggressively. Winfred Dormond dramatically scored the lone for Wise in the 50th minute just as their opponents were gearing up to attack. Wise took advantage of their lead to put more pressure on Tema Youth who had to fight back gamely.
Tema Youth dominated play in the last parts of the game but wasted the few scoring chances that came their way. 26 March 09
