Accra, Nov. 8, GNA - Charles Osei Asibey, Communications Director of Sekondi Eleven Wise has expressed optimism of a turn around in the ongoing 2009/2010 Glo Premier League.
The Sekondi giants suffered the third loss of the season, 0-2 to Ashantigold during the week five clash, held at the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi on Sunday.
With just four points of a possible 15 and languishing at the bottom ranks of the league standings, Osei Asibey told GNA Sports that the entire team has resolved to improve in the remaining matches.
"From the fixtures, we observed that first five matches will be very difficult and we had it right. We hope to make amends in our next match against Berekum Arsenal at home on Wednesday, November 18.
"The playing body and technical team have set sight on a convincing result to aid the ambition of finishing among the top four."
Osei Asibey added that the team is gradually discovering their feet and has served a warning to all clubs in the premier league. "The team is gradually finding its feet and I'm sure by the sixth week, things will improve."
He also urged fans to rally behind the team as they seek a return to wining ways. Eleven Wise, one of the traditional clubs in Ghana football made a return to the top flight two seasons ago, after a 10-year stay in Division One.
