Kumasi, May 14, GNA - Kumasi-based King Faisal F/C on Wednesday drew goalless with Obuasi Ashgold in their outstanding Onetouch Premier League match played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi. It was Faisal who kicked off from referee Seidu Bomeson of Wa's whistle but Ashgold quickly took over and nearly took the lead in the forth and six minutes but their speedster Alex Asamoah's shots went off target.

It was Faisal who kicked off from referee Seidu Bomeson of Wa's whistle but Ashgold quickly took over and nearly took the lead in the forth and six minutes but their speedster Alex Asamoah's shots went off target. Let of the hook, Faisal also missed a chance in the eight minute with Enoch Ando missing the post narrowly. The match from then became a ding-gong affair with both teams messing up the begging chances to end the half. Ashgold brought on Issahaku Zakari for Anthony Baffoe on resumption and Richard Awuah for Alex Asamoah in the 53rd minute but Faisal who played it hard had the upper hand and mounted series of dangerous attacks but the defence of Ashanti Gold stood gallantly to thwart all the effort at goal. Both teams exhausted their substitution but neither of them was able to find the net till the final whistle.
