At the Golden City Park in Berekum, Chelsea will welcome a Wa All Stars team who are not good away travelers. The men from Wa are lying 9th on the table whilst Chelsea who are competing in Africa are 11th.

On paper it looks like an even match but the Blues can capitalised on home advantage and win it. Skipper Jackson Owusu and former Wa All Stars striker Atakora Gyimah will be vital to this game.

Elsewhere at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi King Faisal welcome Kumasi Asante Kotoko in a local derby. Kotoko won the first leg by three goals and will be willing to complete a double over their city rivals. The Porcupine Warriors start as favourites but Faisal can get a point if complacency sets into the play of the Reds.

Kpando Heart of Lions will also play Bechem United at the Kpando Park. Lions are tied on 27th points with Bechem and this game promises to be exciting. In their first game, Bechem won by three goals to two and will be hoping to get a point out of it. Augustine Ocran and striker Patrick Cole will be crucial for them whilst Lions will also rely on the experience of Edmund Owusu Ansah and others.

Also at the Accra Sports Stadium, Liberty Professionals will welcome an impressive Hasaacas in a game which could go to any side. The Western Show Boys were not bad away performers in the first round but their away results this second round has not been the best. They will rely mostly on veteran keeper George Owu to get something from the game whilst Mawuli Tuglo and others will also be prepared to fire Liberty to victory.

Ashanti Gold welcome relegation-threatened Inter Allies to Obuasi in a game which could be a one-sided affair. Inter Allies astonishingly walloped Ashgold in Tema in the first round and the lads from Obuasi need to be vigilant if they want to win. A win for the Miners is likely but with Herbert Addo who knows Ashgold and Obuasi so well at the helm of affairs a draw could be a possibility.

At the Tema Sports Stadium, Amidaus welcome New Edubiase in a game The Port City clubs are favourite. Edubiase will get something out of it if skipper Asiedu Attobrah shines on the day.

The game between Ebusua Dwarfs – Aduana Stars and Medeama vs Hearts of Oak will be honoured on March 12 due to continental assignments this weekend.
