Sekondi Hasaacas staged a strong second-half comeback performance against Ebusua Dwarfs to claim a 2-1 at the Essipong Sports Stadium in Sekondi on Sunday afternoon.
Dwarfs took an early lead through Justice Mensah but Eric Bekoe levelled for Hasmal before former Ghana U20 attacker Samuel Afful claimed the maximum points for the home side.
Dwarfs were looking for a positive results after parting ways with J E Sarpong and appointing a new coach in his stead.
Justice Mensah steered the Mysterious Club into a first-half lead, leaving Hasaacas to trail the visitors by a goal to nil.
But Eric Bekoe levelled the scoring for Hasmal in the second-half. The former Asante Kotoko striker netted to take his season's tally to 7 goals in 12 games.
The 29-year-old raced into the area and applied a blistering drive to brilliantly finish off and pecked the scoring for the Do Boys.
Samuel Afful then sealed the win for Hasmal in the second-half of the duel.
Hasaacas have now moved further away from the relegation zone while Dwarfs remain at the bottom of the league table with 10 points from 13 games.
