Essipong, (W/R) July 6, GNA - Sekondi Hasaacas played an all attacking game to spank visiting Kessben FC 4-1 in a crucial decider of the Ontouch Premier League match played at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong.
Hasaacas who required a convincing win to escape relegation were the aggressors and it was no wonder when their head striker David Annas outwitted the defence of Kessben on three occasions to score the first three goals for his side in the 8th, 24th and 35th minutes to unsettle their the opponents before they struggled to put their house in order. Hasaacas who were inspired by the early goals were on top of proceedings but the tide later turned against them as Kessben fought hard with persistent attacks to redeem their image and get a face saving goal.
Kessben put Hasaacas under considerable pressure but faulty passes and poor kicks up front made it difficult for them to find the net as they continued with their lackluster pattern of play till the end of the first half.
Back from the recess, it was Kessben who again resumed with their constant attacks with Hasaacas occasionally pushing them to their area to prevent any mishap of their mission of survival. In the 86th minute, Kessben managed to make a breakthrough when Iddi Baba converted a pass into the net of Hasaacas to pull back a goal. Isaac Donkor added the fourth goal for Hasaacas in the 88th minute to seal the doom of the visitors and send the teeming fans of Hasaacas on cloud none to indicate their survival for the next soccer season in the Premiership.
