Hearts lose derby and drop to fourth

C.K. Akunnor's debut game in charge of the Hearts of Oak did not produce the expected results as the Phobians crashed to defeat in the derby.

Hearts of Oak were beaten 1-0 by Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium with the result leaving the Phobians 12 points off the summit as they slip to fourth on the standings.

A second half goal from substitute Kwame Boahene in the 76th minute handed Liberty back-to-back wins over their bigger city rivals in this season's league.
