Mahatma Otoo, grabbed a brace late into the Glo Premier League Boxing Day fixture involving Berekum Arsenals and Hearts of Oak to earn the Phobians a point away at the Golden City Park, Berekum.
Otoo’s, brace that tied the game 2-2 and extends Hearts winless journey to five consecutive games came after the ‘Gunners’ twice took the lead in a game that was not lost on drama. The host scored the opener through Isaac Ayisoni, in 35th minutes after he picked his spot well to land home with a free header from an in-swing from a corner to reward Arsenals effort after several fruitless attacks.
Hearts looked out of source and were lucky to have gone to recess only a goal down. The Phobians however returned a bit improved from the break and 20 minutes into the half, Otoo profited from poor goalkeeping to pull Hearts even.
Soon, Arsenals doubled their lead from the spot when James Boadu converted a contentious penalty awarded Arsenals in the 76th minute. Just when it appeared Hearts might return to Accra empty handed, Otoo stroke to gift the Phobians a point two minutes into injury time.
