Power F/C ended this year's GT Premier League on a bright note when they beat visiting Sekondi Hasaacas 2-1 in their match at the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The game was only two minutes old when Kwabena Yaro headed home an in-swinger from Kenneth Sarpong.
Hasaacas who seemed undaunted by the early set back, rallied their men up front and snatched the equalizer through Fred Quayson in the 14th minute.
Power nearly went ahead again but Enmmanuel Donkor's free kick was parried to a corner in the 30th minute and the resultant kick was wasted.
Hasaacas' George Ankama had an opportunity to put his side ahead in the 40th minute but he messed up the chance as his shot missed the target narrowly.
Power after the recess made two changes when they brought on Anthony Simmons and Adokwei Addo for Emmanuel Donkor and Kenneth Sarpong and the changes worked to perfection when Simons laid a perfect pass for Yaro to score Power's second goal in the 60th minute.
Daniel Quao of Power won the Best Player award of the match.
