Ho, Nov. 19, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday fed on its experience to beat Power FC 2-0 in their Onetouch Premier League duel decided at the Ho Sports Stadium.
The high-spirited Power lads dominated most part of the game but lacked the experience to translate their dominance into goals, missing two clear chances to level up in the dying minutes of the game. Power's woes were compounded when FIFA Referee Mercy Tagoe from Tema disallowed their two goals for offside positioning.
Cheered on by their vociferous fans, Kotoko counter attacked in most parts of the second half and scored their two goals in the 47 and 85 minutes respectively through Kwame Obeng Darko who beat Humphrey Amoah in Power's goal with a swift low grounder and a glancing header to register the two goals.
Alhasan Mohammed in goal for Kotoko was kept busy throughout the game.
Power's Yaro Kwabena was adjudged man of the match.
