Accra, Oct. 16, GNA - The Premier League Board (PLB) has said that apart from matches which would be telecast live by Metro Television all others would be recorded for delayed broadcast. The PLB has therefore asked all Premier League Clubs to co-operate with the crew of Metro-TV whenever they show up at the various league centres to perform their assignments.
Mr Kweku Ampim-Darko, Deputy General Secretary, (Technical) Ghana Football Association in a press release copied to GNA Sports outlined details of coverage of the First round Fixtures of the 2009/2010 matches of the Glo-Premier League.
In a related release, it said that four matches would be telecast live by Metro- TV on Super Sports with the kick-off time to be at 18.15 GMT. The matches are the Week One match at the Ohene Djan Stadium on Sunday between Great Olympics and Asante Kotoko, Week Two match between Accra Hearts of Oak and King Faisal also at Ohene Djan stadium on Wednesday, 21 October.
The match between Hearts of Oak and Kessben FC also at the Ohene Djan stadium on Sunday, 25th October and the encounter between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Arsenal on Sunday, 1st November at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi would all be telecast live. The release urged all Match officials, the Clubs and general public to take note of the kick-off time to ensure success of the matches.
