The Disciplinary Committee has upheld a protest filed by Berekum Arsenal against Real Tamale United for fielding an unqualified player during their Glo Premier League match on May 19, 2013.

Arsenal protested on two grounds, claiming the defendant, RTU:

- Failed to pay a fine imposed on them by the GFA on 2nd November, 2012

- Fielded three unqualified players - Hassan Mohammed, Gordon Yeboah and Richard Adjetey for their match-day-27 fixture at the Tamale Stadium. According to Arsenal, all three players had received three yellow cards prior to their meeting.

The evidence at the GFA showed that RTU was fined GHS2,500 on 2nd November, 2012 which has not been paid.

The record of the three players in question revealed that Richard Adjetey should have missed the 27th week match with Berekum Arsenal but he played when he was unqualified to do so.
