Cape Coast, Feb 21, GNA - Visiting Tema Real Sportive on Wednesday held Kumasi Asante Kotoko to a goalless drawn game in their outstanding Premier League match played at the Robert Mensah Stadium at Cape Coast. After a goalless first half in which Emmanuel Osei-Kufour wasted two begging scoring chances the two sides resumed the second half strongly in an attempt to find the lead.

In the 62 minute, Referee John Listowell from Akatsi sent off Kotoko's Ahmed Nyame for hitting an opponent. This attracted vehement protests from the players and officials of Kotoko and this held up the match for sometime until peace officers intervened to restore order.

Kotoko best chance came in the 75th minute when they earned a penalty but Michael Ofodu Appiah missed the fine opportunity to give the "Porcupine Warriors' the much-needed maximum three points. Try as both teams did in the dying minutes of the game none of them could break the deadlock till the referee's final whistle to bring the exciting match to a barren drawn game.
