Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeepers’ trainer, Dan Tettevi says the team will build on their win over King Faisal in their first match of the second round of the Glo Ghana Premier league when they trek to Tarkwa to play as guests of leaders, Medeama Sporting Club in Sunday’s match day 17 headliner.
The 2000 CAF Champions’ League winners are having a very tough season in the Ghanaian top flight. The mighty Hearts are currently stuck in the relegation zone with 18 points and will need to start grinding out results if they want to maintain their Premier League status at the end of this season.
Meanwhile the trainer of the side’s shot-stoppers has told Bolgatanga based radio station, GBC Ura Radio that Hearts are only targeting the maximum three points when they trek to the T&A Park for Sunday’s big game against Medeama who are still smarting from a 4-0 rout by Tema Youth last time out.
“We are building on our hard fought win over King Faisal last week and I’m very confident we will beat Medeama on Sunday even though it will be a very tough match especially when we are playing them at their own backyard,” Tettevi said on live radio.
The Hearts goalies’ trainer added: “And don’t forget that they beat us at the Accra Sports Stadium so we are also aiming at revenge in their own backyard”. Credit:
