Kumasi, Oct. 21, GNA - Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat Sekondi Eleven Wise 2-1 in the second match of their first round of the Glo Premier League match played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Wednesday. Kotoko scored their first goal in the third minute through Yayaha Ganni when he nodded home a quick throw-in from Gideon Baah in a goal mouth melee. Wise accepted the challenge and decided to play it hard but it was still Kotoko who were on top and had a chance in the 5th minute to increase their goal tally but the effort was wasted by Kabiru Imoro. The visitors who probed for the equalizer had a free kick in the 20th minute but Zakari Abdulai's shot hit the cross bar and bounced back into play.
Wise continued to mount attacks and it was no wonder when they managed to pull even on the 45th minute through Nurudeen Yusif. Wise did all that they could but they could not find the equalizer till the final whistle.
