The one flaw of Ghanaian soccer is lack of objectivity. We joke with everything including and soccer. When other nations do everything in their power to win, we rest on past victories. We put square pegs in round holes. The worst of all, We don't look for opportunities better our Black Star team.

Kwasi Appiah was undoubtedly, a good player. He played well and paid his dues to team to which all Ghanaians are grateful. However, Kwasi Appiah is not a coach. He is not tactician and has no confidence as a coach. If we want to use Appiah as a coach, we better send him to coaching school and let him work with other formidable coaches with international acclaim to gain the needed experience. Ghana has grown from amateur soccer to professional soccer arena and we therefore need coaches who are skilled, tactical, confident and fearless. Appiah can better assert himself, and not intimidated when he faces clubs that have reputation to win. How can Appiah shift if he wasn't fearful of the task ahead?
