She failed to qualify. Why are u sending her there? Just to waste tax Payers money? Kwasia! Martha deserves nothing but an education and a scholarship overseas. So she can be the best she can possibly be as a person, a woman and an athlete. What will sending her to all african games active for her? She is.still young. She deserves to learn that in life. Results=SUCCESS. So if she has failed to qualify for all africa. The her punishment is to stay home and watch the games on tv and use this as motivation to prepare.for the Olympics in brasil.

This is what Ghana should be aiming for, not against mediocre athletes at the all-africa games.
The bottom line is Ghana's leaders are letting the young ones down in every facet of life, preventing them from achieving their maximum potentials.
Compare the local black star players to their foreign-based counterparts, and you'll get my drift.

Yeah, yeah, yeah! Esi,I can understand your frustration but don't forget we have to put our money where our mouth is. We must first learn how to take baby steps before we can think about running, let alone compete. We can't reap where we've sown nothing. It's simple. If we can't find budding athletes and train them to qualify for the All African Games which is the launching pad to world recognition and fame why even bother? We need to set our house in order and invest in youth sports and athletics. The first step we need to take if we want to reap what serious sports loving nations reap is reappraise the situation and start all over again. The sowing season always catches us napping because we just love to pay lip service to youth sports and athletics. If we can not make this a national priority then why bother? Are we just fooling ourselves? At the moment the answer is yes.

Resign all I care since you have nothing to offer. You keep letting Erasmus Kwaw do all you dirty work for you by writing and taking shots at the Sports Minister who also does not have a clue about track and field. It's not too late for you to resign. Your letter of resignation is very much welcome. It's long overdue. You don't have the ability to raise Ghana track and field to any level apart from creating mistrust among both new and old athletes. It is time you move on for the right and understanding people to take over to build Ghana track and field.

The young lady failed to qualify for the games so what's the bitching about? Instead they should put heads together to find lasting solutions to the decline in national athletics. It's just an unnecessary show of power that will leave national athletics more bruised and battered. This is what square peg ministers of state in round holes do.Ghana is indeed the Land of the Jaguar Jokers.
