John Dramani Mahama, former president
Former Upper East Regional Minister, Prof. Ephraim Avea Nsoh is optimistic that the 2024 presidential election is a done deal for the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC).
He believes that even without embarking on a campaign he believes victory is sealed for the NDC and there will be a change in government signalling a loss at the polls for the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP).
He touted the NDC as having policies and practical programmes that will transform the country and better the lives of Ghanaians.
“There is no way NPP can win. Even if we just decide not to even campaign from now. It’s because there is a need for people to understand that we have a manifesto, we have policies and practical programmes that we are going to implement to make lives even better.
"Otherwise, we don’t need to campaign. The election is a done deal for Mahama,” he stated on Bolgatanga-based Dreamz FM.
He also accused the NPP of downplaying the strides of the then NDC government in addressing the developmental needs of the country and promised better lives for Ghanaians if they were given the opportunity.
“Close to 8 years after they were given the mandate they have not only failed to live up to expectations but have also eroded the successes made under the erstwhile government”, he disclosed.
