The youth wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Abuakwa South Constituency of the Eastern Region has pledged to work tirelessly to secure an overwhelming victory for their flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and their parliamentary candidate, Kingsley Agyemang, in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

The goal is to "break the 8," referring to the eight-year election cycle.

Speaking at the youth training conference and campaign team launch for the 2024 elections, the constituency's youth leader, Commander Nana Kwaku Amoako, emphasized the significant impact the NPP has had on their constituency and municipality.

He highlighted numerous developments and initiatives that have empowered the youth, particularly through their parliamentary candidate, Kingsley Agyemang, who is also the registrar at the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat.

Nana Kwaku Amoako detailed the various projects and developments that have positively affected the lives of the people, including improvements in educational infrastructure, the health sector, support for farmers, and resources for the youth and traders in the constituency.

He stated that, as the home constituency of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, they have a special obligation to work hard and show gratitude by securing a 95% victory for the party in the upcoming general elections.

The Regional NPP Secretary, Anthony Osei Adjei, also addressed the youth, urging them to stay focused and engage in decent, issue-based campaigns.

He challenged them to aim for a 100% vote share in the upcoming elections, citing the numerous benefits the party has brought to the constituency and municipality through the government and their parliamentary candidate.

Kingsley Agyemang expressed optimism about breaking the eight-year election cycle, noting the significant achievements of the NPP in the constituency.

He assured that the party would secure a substantial victory with a target of 90% of the vote, emphasizing that the election will be a communal effort where residents unite for a common goal.

Mr. Agyemang admonished the youth to focus on issue-based campaigning and hard work to ensure the party's success in the 2024 general elections.
