The National Council of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is advising the suspended Chairman of the party against going to court to challenge his suspension.
The Council Thursday affirmed the decision of the party’s National Executive Committee to suspend Paul Afoko as Chairman.
Mr. Afoko petitioned the National Council over his suspension for allegedly working against the party.
But the Council by a majority decision affirmed the verdict of the party’s NEC.
A member of the Council Boniface Gambila told Starr News Mr. Afoko should “forget” seeking redress in court.
“He has tried going to court several times, they have been throwing his cases out, but he should forget it. His father was a council of state member under President Kufuor so his father benefited from the NPP administration and I think he should recognise that and just let the party be,” he stated.
