National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has revealed on GHONE TV's State of Affairs that, NDC's Agenda 50/50 is still on course.
Speaking on the President's Accounting to the People tour in the Eastern Region, Kofi Adams said the NDC is targeting more than 50% votes in the Eastern Region considering the quality job the NDC, and Mahama have done for the region.
"I was in the Eastern Region and with what I saw, I know 50/50 is the least we can get," he added.
Touching on some good works done in the region by John Mahama, he said that, there were a number of communities in the region including Nana Addo's hometown that didn't have access to good drinking water, but John Mahama has provided them with good drinking water.
He added that most towns in the Eastern Region especially the Akyem areas are seeing a massive face-lift.
"Go to Asamankese, Kyebi and so on, you will realize that it is either their roads are completed, under construction or have been awarded for construction," he said
The hard working Organizer continued that, the Abuakwa State College, which happens to be in Nana Addo's hometown, has seen so much infrastructural development.
On Healthcare, he said the provision of clinics and CHPS compounds across the region adds up to the reasons why 50% votes in the region is very possible.
On Education, Kofi Adams said education is key, and it is the topmost priority of the NDC government which is why they found it necessary to invest in all sectors of Education; from the basic level to the tertiary level. One can attest to the fact that polytechnics are being upgraded to technical universities, and the Koforidua Polytechnic is one of such.
According to Kofi Adams, this and many other achievements are on the ground to demonstrate that indeed NDC under the auspices of John Mahama has invested a lot in the Eastern Region.
