Agona West NDC Elects new constituency executives

Agona Nyakrom, Jan 5, GNA - Mr Emmanuel Kwesi Lincoln, an Agona Swedru based

businessman, has been elected Constituency Chairman of the Agona West branch of the

National Democratic Congress (NDC) at its delegates' congress on Monday. He polled 82 votes to beat Mr Samuel Mpota who got 81 votes while Mr Musa Donkoh,

the incumbent had 9 votes. Mrs Josephine Essel, business woman polled 157 votes to become Vice chairperson to

defeat Alhaji Sulemana, the incumbent vice chairman who had 68 votes. Mr Ebenezer Doke had 155 votes to win Constituency Secretary position to beat Mr

Wisdom Ayiku who had 68 votes. Mr Eric Apoh and Mrs Evelyn Adu were also elected Youth and Women organizers. Mr Lincoln thanked the delegates and pledged to unite all contestants to work hard to

snatch the Agona West Parliamentary seat from New Patriotic Party in the 2012 election. Mr Felix Jacob Obeng-Forson, Agona West Municipal Chief Executive, appealed to both

the winners and losers to come together to serve the NDC to win the 2012 elections. He urged the supporters to bury their differences and make the party vibrant and

attractive to people, especially floating voters 05 Jan. 10
