Ahiagbah likens NPP’s victory in December polls to that of Bharatiya Janata Party in India

The Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has likened Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's anticipated win to that of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in India, which has been given a third mandate despite the economic challenges the country faces.

According to him, despite the rising unemployment rate and the depreciating rupee, the people of India recognize that it is not the fault of their leaders that COVID-19 and other external factors have led to these challenges.

He believes the mandate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was renewed because the people trust that they can address the issues.

Just like the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and their third-term opportunity, he believes the people of Ghana will ensure Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia becomes President in a third-term bid for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to address the challenges posed to the people of Ghana as a result of COVID-19 and other external factors.
