President Nana Akufo-Addo will continue to implement policies to empower Muslims as part of his over all national development strategy.
"We know that he has a Muslim as his Vice President in the person of Dr Bawumia, has instituted the Zongo development Fund and many other policies to empower Muslims who largely reside in deprived communities," according to Hajia Aisha Yusif, Deputy National Nasara Coordinator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Hajia Aisha Yusif was presenting assorted drinks to the Afienya Muslim community at the end of Ramadan at Afienya in the Greater Accra Region.
She urged all Muslims to wish the President well and also support his efforts to build a strong foundation for the economic prosperity of all Ghanaians.
"He knows us. He loves us because he lives among us. He hears the call to prayer everyday at his Nima residence. Our plight is also his. He says he will not be happy if Muslims are not happy and we know it is true, "Hajia Aisha said.
Muslims have ended their fasting and purification peroid called Ramadan with prayer and modest celebration.
