Mr Kelly Forson, NDC Deputy National Organiser, commended the delegates for the mature manner the affairs of the party was being conduction in the constituency and urged them to work hard for victory in the 2004 elections.

"It is crystal clear that the people have lost confidence in the ruling NPP government because of its failure to fulfil campaign promises."

Mr John Kofi Ahenkorah, Western Regional Secretary, appealed to the rank and file of the party to burry any differences and to work together to capture the Tarkwa-Nsuaem parliamentary seat from the NPP. He urged party activists to deal with only "the truth and issues" in their campaigns since telling lies to win votes could be dangerous and harmful to one's image and the image of the party.
