Amoako Tuffour honours Nana Addo, grassroots of NPP
For an unprecedented 3rd year running, Dr. Kwame Amoako Tuffuor(Organizer of the party) had thrown an end of year party to honour the then Presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo and now President of the country and the Grassroots, women and youth of the party to thank them for their hard work and dedication.
The get together was to show solidarity to the rank and file of the party in peace and in unity.
The function which was extremely well attended by the rank and file of the party also had the presence of the Ashanti Regional Minister Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, Mayor of Kumasi Hon. Osei Asibey, Regional Chairman of the party popularly referred to as Chairman Wontumi and as many chairmen in the region including some others from different regions.
The Party took place as in the two previous ones at Ojampa (The Cabin) at Ayigya in Kumasi.
There were lots of merry making at the grounds, especially dancing to the party's popular election song Nana y3 Winner.
Dr. Kwame Amoako Tuffuor gave the introductory speech to welcome the President.He expressed his gratitude and respect to the Predident and thanked him for gracing the occasion.There were many people who came there and were extremely happy to find the President showing friendship and solidarity with them.
Dr Tuffuor explained the essence of the party and demonstrated that for a unified party by bringing the men,women and youth of the party together for pe ace,love and solidarity.
The President followed by thanking those present and NPP supporters and Ghanaians at large for the support and solidarity shown to him.He stressed he had everybody's interest at heart and will continue to work hard to bring real development to the country.
The people showed a lot of solidarity by waving,dancing and cheering the President. People praised the organizer for his initiative and ingenuity for organizing the party.
Hon. Osei Asibey(Mayor of Kumasi), Chairman Wontumi(Regional Chairman), Hon. Simon Osei Mensah(Regional Minister) and many other important party dignitaries were helpful in making the program a success.
