The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt, has cautioned the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against engaging in a witch-hunt of New Patriotic Party (NPP) members and officials of the Akufo-Addo government when they assume power.

According to him, such actions would yield no meaningful results if, after "arresting people and sending them to jail, the price of kenkey rises from 5 cedis to 10 cedis, or the dollar increases from 17 cedis to 25."

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo show, the Editor-in-Chief of the Insight newspaper advised the NDC to prioritize addressing the economic challenges confronting Ghanaians.

In his view, this is what truly matters to the ordinary Ghanaian, rather than pursuing officials and leaders of the NPP, who will be in opposition in 2025.

"For me, what is essential to me, Ghanaians and must be of concern to the NDC is for them to ensure Ghanaians have relief. If we don't get (economic) relief, whatever you do will mean nothing", he told host Kwami Sefa Kayi.
