He describes Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie also known as “Sir John” comment as “childish” since “money is not all that matters when it comes to campaigning”

According to Sir John, “over confident” aspiring flagbearers of the party must rather use their money to support the NPP’s quest, thus, electing Nana Addo win the flagbearer contest and the in the 2016 general elections."

Adding that, “Akufo-Addo is the most sought after, marketed and preferred candidate so any attempt by some individuals to contest him will be an exercise in futility."

Even though Nana Akufo-Addo has been the frontrunner, the other six [6] contestants have vowed and very optimistic to give him [Nana Addo] a run for his money ahead of the party’s presidential primaries slated October 18th, 2014.

Responding to Sir John claims on Asempa FM, Asamoah Boateng also known as “Asabee” described himself as a biblical “David” ready to massacre a tough “Goliath” [Nana Addo] in a grand style.

He however noted that, some NPP MP’s who have publicly declared their support to Nana Addo during his campaign launch does not perturb him.

“I am not worried about Nana Addo’s massive support. I am still seeking God’s direction. There are so many ways to campaign. My style of campaigning is different. God has his own way of doing wonders,” he stated.
