Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa DCE wins NDC parliamentary primaries

Odoben (C/R) Nov 26, GNA - Madam Nkrumah Aboah, Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa District Chief Executive, was on Saturday elected the parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Party (NDC) in a primaries, held at Odoben.

She polled 366 votes to beat her contestant Mr Emmanuel Tawiah Aboagye, who obtained 25 votes.

The election was conducted by the District Electrical Commission and observed by Central Regional executives of the party.

Madam Aboah thanked the delegates for electing her as to contest the parliamentary for the area on the ticket of the NDC.

She called on NDC members to unite, work hard and explain the good policies of the Government to Ghanaians so that more people could join the party. Mr Aboagye promised to support Madam Aboah to campaign and re-capture the seat from the New Patriotic Party.
