The 2016 Presidential Candidate of the opposition Peoples National Convention, Edward Mahama, has chided Hassan Ayariga, his predecessor saying he’s petty.
In an interview on GH One Tv’s morning show GH Today on Tuesday, Mahama, who has been given the nod to lead the party for the fifth time since 1996 said Ayariga needed to be delivered from his immaturity, adding he lacked sportsmanship.
“He needs deliverance… he needs prayers; in politics, you need to exhibit good sportsmanship. He must be delivered from political immaturity. He has failed to congratulate me after winning.”
A not-so-pleased Ayariga, who was watching the interview, sent a message asking the hosts Kafui Dey and Baisiwa Duwuona-Hammond to question Mahama on why he had no running water at his hospital, and why he failed to respond to six calls for them to run a campaign when he (Ayariga) was flagbearer.
Maham disputed his claims saying they were untrue.
