The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament and flagbearer hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has paid a visit to the party's delegates who were involved in an accident on Saturday, November 17, 2018.
The said Eastern Regional Delegates were on their way from their hotels to the Trade Fair Center in Accra to vote for their various candidates when the unfortunate accident occurred around the El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra; a report we gathered.
Upon hearing the sad news, Hon. Bagbin, left the NDC National Congress grounds where voting was ongoing and quickly visited the victims at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital where he encouraged and gave them hope of surviving.
The Nadowli/Kaleo lawmaker also supported the victims by donating an undisclosed amount of money to assist in catering for their bills.
That notwithstanding, he spent some quality time with the accident victims before leaving for another duty else where.
Fortunately, none of the accident victims passed on after sustaining various degrees of injuries.
However, three were said to be in a critical condition and were being attended to by the doctors at the hospital.
