"Barrack Obama" to storm ER/GHANA

RE: JOHN MAHAMA TO STORM EASTERN REGION.

This is to confirm that Hon. John Dramani Mahama aka. “Barrack Obama’, MP for Bole Bamboi and the NDC running mate for the December 2008 elections will undertake a 10 days campaign tour of the Eastern Region of Ghana. The tour will start from tomorrow September 2 from the Asuogyaman constituency and end on September 12, 2008.

The tour which will take him to 16 out of the 28 constituencies of the region will take him to the following constituencies in the following order:Asuogyaman,Lower Manya,Yilo Krobo,Upper Manya, Okere,Akropong,New Juabeng North and South,Aburi/Nsawam,Upper West Akyim,Fanteakwa,Suhum,Lower West Akyim,Ayensuano,Afram Plains North and South.It forms the first leg of his Eastern Regional tour.

The main objective of the tour is to explain to Ghanaians and the voting populace in general the key thematic areas of the NDC campaign pillars, thus investing in jobs, people and the economy. He will also explain the reasons why at this stage of our nationhood, it is very important for the people to vote for a social –democratic party as opposed to a property owning democratic oriented party.

One of the highlights of the trip will be the “Obama town hall meeting with students”where Hon. John Mahama will interact with students in the Koforidua metropolis in a very open and frank manner.

Fellow countrymen and women, the Obama rocket is now heading to the east where the sun rises, please get on board and don’t be left out!!!
