Local Government Minister Adjei Mensah Korsah believes that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has chosen a ticket with the people of Ghana in mind.
He says the NPP's ticket for the 2024 elections gives the best hope, and the NPP are content with their choice.
Members of the opposition National Democratic Congress are of the view that the NPP is presenting a weaker front ahead for the 2024 elections.
They describe Dr Mahamudu Bawumia as incompetent and Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh as arrogant.
However, addressing these, Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah indicated that the country is in a political season, and therefore, he does not expect opponents to sing praises of their candidates.
However, their ticket "best represents our best roots. They are a pair of hands to move this country from where we are to the next aspiring stage that we want. I don't think that you will expect a smooth sail without people punching holes to distract that wonderful ticket," he said.
He was speaking to Mynewsgh. Com in Takoradi, where the political party is launching their 2024 manifesto.
The manifesto christened 'Bold Solutions for Jobs and Business' is believed to transform the country's fortunes.
