Samira Bawumia is the Second Lady of Ghana
The wife of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Samira Bawumia, has underscored the need for Ghanaian voters to elect a capable president in the upcoming December polls.
According to a report on myjoyonline.com, Samira said that the outcome of the elections will shape the trajectory of Ghana’s future in terms of development and economic growth.
She suggested that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the NPP, is the capable candidate to improve and develop Ghana’s future. Therefore, she urged Ghanaians to vote for him as president.
Samira Bawumia made this statement while addressing a crowd of NPP supporters at Effiakuma Zongo in the Effia constituency of the Western Region.
“Ghana’s future will be better if Dr Mahamudu Bawumia becomes president,” she stated, adding that her husband’s leadership will ensure the continuity of the NPP government’s initiatives.
Highlighting Dr Bawumia’s competence, dedication, and innovative approach, Samira Bawumia emphasised that the flagbearer is the ideal candidate that can progress the future of the country.
“It is only under the NPP government that the country has seen Muslims becoming Vice Presidents and Insha Allah, come December 7, Dr Bawumia will be the next President,” she said as quoted by myjoyonline.com.
