The Brong-Ahafo Constituency Organisers Forum of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has applauded Delegates of the Party’s just-ended Eighth National Congress held in Kumasi, for the level of maturity exhibited to ensure an incident-free event.
This was contained in a press release jointly signed by Messrs Kwasi Lampo and Casimir M. Bazigha, Chair and Secretary respectively, and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Sunyani.
The Forum congratulated the delegates for the show of maturity in electing the Party’s National Executives, the release said, adding that “the professionalism shown at the Congress demonstrates once again what NDC will do in 2016”.
The release congratulated the Planning Committee for “a good job done,” saying the hard work of the organizing team made the Congress “a unique one held under a non-violent and lovely atmosphere of peace and tranquillity.”
It also congratulated all the newly-elected National Executive Committee (NEC) members on their successful election, and appealed to “our National Chair and his unprecedented team, to initiate moves of reconciliation, to resolve all differences that might have been created between and among contestants during their campaign period.
The release said “as one people, one team, one party and one focus, we need to build a greater unity structure to add more plus to the impending election 2016”.
